JIC Chief Investment Officer, Toshiyuki Kumura, attended as a panel at the first meeting of the "Expert Panel on Venture Capital (VC) Funds" that took place on April 30, 2024.
The first meeting of the “Expert Panel on Venture Capital (VC) Funds," which was held by the Financial Services Agency (FSA) and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) is to seek recommendations on matters that should be included in the principles for VC funds, leveraging the insights and expertise of professionals and other experts in the private sector.
Toshiyuki Kumura attended as an expert, gave a presentation on JIC's approach to investment and its efforts based on the current state of domestic VCs.
