JIC Head of Fund Investments Yuka Hata moderates a panel at Women's Private Equity Summit APAC 2024

JIC Head of Fund Investments, Yuka Hata, moderated a panel at the Women's Private Equity Summit APAC 2024 conference that took place in Singapore from January 31 to February 2, 2024.

The conference aims to promote networking and knowledge sharing among women working in the fields of venture capital and private equity. Following last year's event, this marks the second time it has been held in the Asia-Pacific region. Over 300 women in the private equity industry from across the region, including LPs, GPs, and advisors gathered to exchange views on the trends and sectors to watch in 2024.

Yuka Hata moderated an exciting panel discussion, “Spotlight on Japan; Driving on the tail of what’s happening in the public sector,” that discussed, based on future market outlook, a variety of topics including how to attract capital and talent, how to access technologies and how to explore opportunities for new investments, value creation and exit in the Japanese market where the number of carve-outs, corporate restructurings, succession deals, and activist interventions are rising and the momentum to root for startups is growing.
